Pay Contra Costa Water District (CCWD)

Use the provider’s verified online, telephone, mail, or counter instructions. Check the final confirmation screen for the amount, processing date, and any transaction fee before submitting.

Primary online route

Use the official payment portal

The direct portal is the fastest route when it is available. The provider identifies its payment gateway as VertexOne / My Water Report. CCWD’s current login page states that My Water Report is a service offered by CCWD and powered by VertexOne; the current portal supports bill payment, usage history, contact updates, paperless billing, and high-use/leak alerts.. Never enter account credentials into a lookalike site reached through an unsolicited message.

Mail, text, and in-person payment instructions

Pay by text

A dedicated this detail was not publicly posted. CCWD’s current My Water Report and bill-payment pages describe online credit/debit payment, EasyPay checking-account drafts, paperless billing, usage analysis, and high-use alerts, but do not publish a pay-by-text keyword, SMS short code, opt-in sequence, or text-based payment workflow. Customers should use the official My Water Report portal rather than an unsolicited text link.

Counters, drop boxes, and office hours

CCWD’s cashier processes payments at the District office, 1331 Concord Avenue, Concord, CA 94520, Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. An outside drop box at the same 1331 Concord Avenue location is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week; customers should use the payment coupon and check or money order and should not leave cash. The District’s current public payment page does not list additional staffed customer-payment centers or partner pay stations. General customer service is available at 925-688-8000, and the office’s customer-service page lists 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. telephone support.

Accepted digital instruments

What you can use online

My Water Report accepts online credit-card payment; CCWD separately publishes a one-time credit/debit-card IVR at 877-506-3121. EasyPay is a no-additional-fee automatic draft from a designated checking account for treated-water customers; enrollment requires the application and an original voided check. The current CCWD pages do not identify Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH guest pay, or a specific card-brand list, so those methods are not publicly stated unless shown at checkout.

2026 transaction pricing

Convenience fees

The CCWD payment page labels EasyPay and online payments as no-fee payment options. EasyPay has no additional fee; the current public page does not publish a separate 2026 surcharge for online credit-card payment or the 877-506-3121 credit/debit IVR. Any third-party fee displayed at checkout should be treated as account-specific and verified before submission.

Fees can vary by payment type, channel, account class, and processor terms. The checkout screen is the final fee disclosure.

Payment guidance

Choose the payment channel that fits your deadline

The safest payment path is the one published by Contra Costa Water District (CCWD) and matched to the account information on your bill. Online portals are convenient, but telephone, mail, counter, and drop-box options may follow different posting schedules and may use different fees.

For a routine payment, save the final confirmation page or IVR number and check when the transaction will post. For a same-day shut-off notice, do not assume that submitting a card payment automatically stops a field order; ask the provider what amount and confirmation are required.

Never send your account number, password, card details, or bank information to Water Ledger. Those details belong only on the provider’s verified payment channel or at an authorized counter.
