Pay by text

La Habra Heights County Water District does not publish a text-to-pay keyword, short code, or SMS enrollment sequence. Customers can use the ePayUB Quick Pay page, registered Auto Pay, ACH draft, bank bill pay, mail, office cashier, or the 24-hour drop box. Verify any text message by calling 562-697-6769 rather than following an unsolicited payment link.

Mail-in address

LHHCWD, PO Box 628, La Habra, CA 90633-0628. Mail the payment and lower bill portion, include the account number, do not mail cash, and remember that the District posts payment when received in its office rather than on the postmark date.

Counters, drop boxes, and office hours

The only authorized paying station is the District office at 1271 N. Hacienda Road, La Habra Heights, CA 90631. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; phone 562-697-6769. The office accepts the District's approved payment instruments, and an after-hours drop box to the left of the office entrance accepts checks and other permitted non-cash remittances. Payments made after office hours, on weekends, or on holidays are handled for restoration only during office hours.

2026 transaction pricing

Convenience fees

For one-time credit/debit card, e-check, and credit/debit Auto Pay transactions, a third-party processing fee is the greater of $3.05 or 2% of the payment amount. The District states it receives none of this fee. ACH draft from a checking account has no District processing fee, although a customer's bank may impose its own fee.

Fees can vary by payment type, channel, account class, and processor terms. The checkout screen is the final fee disclosure.

Payment guidance

Choose the payment channel that fits your deadline

The safest payment path is the one published by La Habra Heights County Water District and matched to the account information on your bill. Online portals are convenient, but telephone, mail, counter, and drop-box options may follow different posting schedules and may use different fees.

For a routine payment, save the final confirmation page or IVR number and check when the transaction will post. For a same-day shut-off notice, do not assume that submitting a card payment automatically stops a field order; ask the provider what amount and confirmation are required.

Never send your account number, password, card details, or bank information to Water Ledger. Those details belong only on the provider’s verified payment channel or at an authorized counter.
