Provider-specific review
What the public record says about a leak adjustment
Marin Water requires the account holder or authorized representative to submit a complete written application with proof of corrective action and proof of repair. The customer must correct the leak within 48 hours of discovery or notification of high consumption and submit the signed request and documentation within 30 days of the bill date for the affected period; incomplete applications are denied and require reapplication. Adjustments are limited to two billing periods and one adjustment every 36 months, with additional insurance documentation required for claims exceeding $5,000. Faucet leaks are excluded; the district reviews the eligible amount under Code Section 6.01.090 rather than applying a simple advertised percentage.
