Provider-specific review
What the public record says about a leak adjustment
Ontario’s current customer pages do not publish a guaranteed private-leak bill credit, repair-receipt deadline, historical-average formula, or adjustment cap. OMUC maintains the City-owned portion of the service line through the meter; the customer’s responsibility begins after the meter. A high-bill customer should call 909-395-2678, request a leak or meter investigation, preserve meter readings, photographs, and licensed-plumber invoices, and ask Customer Service whether the current SB 998 disputed-bill or meter-testing procedure applies. Any adjustment must be confirmed by the City; the reviewed materials do not promise automatic forgiveness.
