Provider-specific findings

Billing and account research from public material

Provider-specific research notes are displayed separately from fields that contain only an unavailable-information marker. Read qualifiers in each note and verify current account terms with the provider.

Billing frequency
Every other month for Sacramento County Water Agency customers. The County bill-and-payment page states that SCWA customers receive a utility bill every other month with water usage and fees.
Rate structure
The Agency Code permits both flat-rate and metered retail water charges depending on the service area and account classification. Zone 40 is a conjunctive-use system combining groundwater and surface-water supply; current customer charges are controlled by Sacramento County’s adopted rate schedules and may include zone or special-service-area components.
Wastewater and sewer calculation
SCWA Laguna/Vineyard is a drinking-water agency and the reviewed County materials do not establish a universal SCWA wastewater charge or winter-average sewer calculation. Any sewer or sanitation line may be billed by a separate local provider or through the County consolidated bill; customers must use the line-item descriptions on the current invoice.
Meter reading
The Laguna/Vineyard system includes metered retail service and SCWA planning documents identify AMR meter infrastructure in the Zone 40 system. The reviewed public customer pages do not establish a universal residential transmission interval or whether every meter is AMI; bill cycles remain bimonthly.
New-account deposit
The Agency may refuse new service when prior County utility bills are unpaid and may require written application, information, and applicable fees. The reviewed SCWA materials did not expose a universal residential startup deposit amount, credit-check waiver, or refund period.
Activation or transfer fee
New service requires written application and payment of applicable fees before work begins. Reestablishment after discontinuance is actual cost, not less than $25. The reviewed materials did not identify a universal routine account-name transfer fee for an occupied residence.
