Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
15 days after the billing date; the account becomes delinquent at that point.
Late-fee calculation
A late fee of 5% is assessed on any unpaid balance and appears on a subsequent bill. Past-due final bills may be sent to collections or small claims, and delinquent balances may become a property lien or be placed on the property-tax roll after the required public hearing process.
Disconnection timeline
Bills are due upon receipt and become delinquent 15 days after the billing date. If full payment is not received within 30 days of the billing date, the account may be disconnected and additional reconnection and deposit fees may apply. All outstanding balances must be paid before restoration.
