Confirm the form, filing deadline, eligible repairs, calculation method, and payment expectation during review.

The notes below may document a route, rule, or explicit public-information limit. General preparation steps are not represented as utility policy.

Emergency reporting route
970-212-2900 is the published Utilities customer-support and outage/problem route; no separate water-main emergency line was exposed in the reviewed pages.
Leak-adjustment policy
Fort Collins can adjust the winter-quarter average when the customer proves that the WQA used water from a repaired leak. After recalculation, the customer has 60 days to provide lower-usage reports and documentation. Submit customer/account information, discovery and repair dates, and a repair bill/receipt describing the problem and work to UtilitiesBillingGroup@fortcollins.gov or City of Fort Collins Utilities, Attn: Utility Billing, P.O. Box 580, Fort Collins, CO 80522-0580.
Utility assistance program
Fort Collins partners with local agencies for emergency, long-term, seasonal, and monthly aid. The Payment Assistance Fund helps past-due customers; LEAP acceptance can qualify active customers for the Income-Qualified Assistance Program. The reviewed pages do not state a universal municipal credit cap.
State and federal aid connection
Customers may use Colorado LEAP, the City’s IQAP reduced rate, the Payment Assistance Fund, and Colorado’s Affordable Residential Energy Program for weatherization. Local partners administer emergency bill aid; no separate federal water-only portal was identified.
