Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
The 2026 schedule treats an account as delinquent when the bill remains unpaid by 5:00 p.m. on the 32nd day after the billing date. This is a delinquency trigger, not a promise that the bill is penalty-free until that date.
Late-fee calculation
The 2026 fee schedule lists a $15 late-payment penalty, a $20 insufficient-funds charge, an $18 door-hanger notice fee, and a $105 filing fee for unpaid bills. Reinstatement additionally requires all delinquent balances, termination/restoration expenses, labor and materials, specified fees, and any deposit required by municipal code.
Disconnection timeline
If payment is not received by 5:00 p.m. on day 32 after the billing date, Loveland mails a written notice of intent to disconnect. If still unpaid, a written termination notice is posted or mailed at least eight days after the intent notice. Service termination occurs as soon as practicable after 8:00 a.m. on the eighth day after the termination notice was posted or mailed.
