Provider-specific review
What the public record says about a leak adjustment
The adopted 2026 rules recognize approved adjustments for underground leaks and breaks in a customer's service line and charge the customer $1.00 per 1,000 gallons for the adjusted leak volume. The public tariff does not give a full application deadline or receipt checklist, so customers should promptly stop the leak, retain plumber invoices and photographs, record the meter, and contact Ute Water for approval before assuming a credit will be granted. The District distinguishes private service-line responsibility from its public-system maintenance and may require verification before adjusting the account.
