How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
Aquarion's Connecticut bill states that charges are due as of the statement date and unpaid charges may incur a late fee if not paid on or before the statement due date. The reviewed pages do not publish a separate universal residential grace-period day count.
Late-fee calculation
The April 1, 2026 Aquarion Connecticut approved-rate schedule lists a late-payment fee of 1.40% per month on the outstanding balance. The rate schedule also lists a $25 returned-check fee, a $10 letter-series fee, and other account-service charges.
Disconnection timeline
The reviewed Aquarion pages do not expose one Stamford-specific calendar from due date to physical shutoff. Customers should contact Aquarion immediately after a missed due date; restoration at the main by excavation after termination for nonpayment is billed at the cost of labor, materials, and equipment under the 2026 schedule.
