What the public record says about a leak adjustment
Waterbury's current pages do not publish an automatic residential leak-credit formula. Historical Board of Public Works materials show that leak adjustments have been presented for approval case by case. A customer with abnormal usage should document the meter reading, repair the leak, retain invoices and submit a written request to Billing and Collections/Water Department; the City may investigate the meter or consider an administrative adjustment, but no guaranteed percentage, cap or frequency was found.
