Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
A dedicated this detail was not publicly posted. – Miramar’s public application and billing pages state that payment is due by the date on the bill and that a late-payment penalty may be assessed, but they do not publish a universal numeric grace period.
Late-fee calculation
The current public new-account application warns that late-payment penalties apply when bills are not paid by the specified due date, but it does not expose a current fixed dollar or percentage formula. Credit-card payments also incur the separate 2.95% processing fee; returned payments and nonpayment may create restoration charges.
Disconnection timeline
A dedicated this detail was not publicly posted. – the City publishes the requirement to pay past-due balance plus a disconnect/reconnect service charge before restoration, but does not publish a complete day-by-day due-date-to-shutoff calendar. Customers should contact RestoreMyWater@miramarfl.gov or 954-602-HELP immediately if water is disconnected or a cutoff is threatened.
