Mail, text, and in-person payment instructions
Pay by text
Lee County’s current portal supports paperless billing, email notifications, account history, and AutoPay. The public customer pages and 2025 operations manual do not publish a pay-by-text keyword or text-payment enrollment path. Customers should register at myutilities.leegov.com, use the mobile app, and confirm any text-alert option inside the authenticated account.
Mail-in address
Mail a check or money order with the payment stub to Lee County Utilities, P.O. Box 37779, Boone, IA 50037-0779. Do not mail cash. The County advises allowing up to seven days for delivery and posting.
