What the public record says about a leak adjustment
Under Resolution 2025-M-19, eligible 5/8-by-3/4-inch accounts and residential customers may request an adjustment when unusually high water or reclaimed-water use creates a corresponding bill spike. The customer must repair the leak, submit the County form with required documentation within 60 days of the unusual-consumption date, and continue paying current bills. The adjustment reduces excess consumption charges but is governed by the resolution and does not necessarily eliminate the entire overage.
