Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
No post-due-date grace period is published; payment must be received by the 20th of the month to avoid penalty. The bill states that payment must be received, not merely postmarked, by the due date.
Late-fee calculation
A 10% penalty is added if payment is not received by the due date. A returned check or direct debit carries a $35 charge, and the returned amount plus the charge must be paid by cash, money order, or credit card within 10 days of notification.
Disconnection timeline
If payment is not received by the date shown on the shut-off notice, water service is terminated without further notification. Restoration requires all arrears plus a $50 turn-on fee paid during regular office hours; the reviewed page does not state the number of days from the original bill to the shut-off notice.
