Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
Bills are due on the date printed; after a missed monthly payment the disconnect notice gives 14 days before scheduled disconnection.
Late-fee calculation
Current EWSU material states that bills not paid before the stated due date are subject to a 10% late-payment fee. Customers in good standing can request arrangements before shutoff.
Disconnection timeline
A missed monthly payment triggers a mailed or e-billing disconnect notice. The customer has 14 days to pay or request an arrangement, which should be submitted at least two days before the date. After disconnection, pay the full past-due amount and submit the reconnect form; restoration is usually same day but can take 24 hours.
