Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
The bill is mailed at least 10 days before its due date. If unpaid by the due date, a penalty is added and a final notice states the last day to pay; the reviewed City page does not specify a separate numeric grace period beyond that final date.
Late-fee calculation
If the account is not paid by the due date, a final notice is mailed and a $12.50 service charge is assessed per utility if the balance remains unpaid before the final date. Electronic payment fees are separate processor charges.
Disconnection timeline
The City publishes a due-date and final-notice sequence but not an exact calendar day for physical water termination. Before disconnection, the customer must pay the bill in full, including penalties and service charges; budget billing is available to customers with no late payment in the prior 12 months.
