Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
16 days from the bill date is the net-payment due period; if the final due date falls on a weekend or holiday, the next business day is the payment grace day.
Late-fee calculation
Rates are subject to a 10% late-payment charge when paid after the due date. The tariff separately lists a $6 delinquent-service charge for a trip to collect or terminate service, an $8 regular-hours service connection charge, and a $57 after-hours connection charge.
Disconnection timeline
After the 16-day due date, the District may discontinue service after giving the customer five days' written Past Due Notice. The tariff does not guarantee a fixed calendar day beyond that notice sequence; the printed notice controls.
