Provider-specific review
What the public record says about a leak adjustment
ONWASA may reduce the usage cost of a qualifying leak by 50% once every 12 months. The customer must notify ONWASA that the leak exists, provide evidence that it was repaired, and submit the Leak Adjustment form. No more than one adjustment is allowed in any 12-month period, and sewer services billed at a flat rate for third-party billing receive no adjustment. ONWASA also provides practical meter tests: turn off all water, find the meter near the front sidewalk, and watch the flow indicator; a moving indicator with fixtures off suggests a leak. The reviewed page does not publish a dollar cap beyond the 50% usage-cost reduction.
