Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
The bill’s printed due date controls. If payment is not received by 5:00 p.m. on that date, the City mails one delinquent notice; the customer then has until 5:00 p.m. on the delinquent notice’s due date, with termination on the next business day if full payment or approved arrangements are not received.
Late-fee calculation
The reviewed City pages specify the delinquent-notice and termination sequence but do not expose a separate universal late-fee percentage or fixed delinquency charge.
Disconnection timeline
Due date passes, one delinquent notice is mailed, and if full payment or approved arrangements are not received by 5:00 p.m. on the notice deadline, water service is terminated the next business day.
