What the public record says about a leak adjustment
Bedford’s public FAQ explains that smart-meter data and EyeOnWater can help a customer identify unusual usage and leak alerts, but it does not publish a standard leak-adjustment credit formula or a detailed receipt-submission process. A suspected leak should be reported to Utility Billing, and any adjustment, repair-proof requirement, eligibility window, or cap is not publicly stated until the city confirms it. Pool filling can be considered in the winter sewer average only when the customer notifies the city by April 1 with the fill date and approximate gallons.
