Provider-specific review
What the public record says about a leak adjustment
The City states that leakage between the meter and building is the responsibility of the owner, tenant, or occupant and publishes a water-audit/leak-detection conservation program. Customers should inspect the private line, contact Public Works for a suspected City-side problem, and request a reread or service visit when appropriate. The current fee schedule charges $10 for a reread when the original reading was correct and $15/$50 for working/non-duty-hour service requests. No standing leak-forgiveness formula, repair-receipt credit, maximum adjustment, or sewer-only cap was found on the reviewed current pages.
