Provider-specific review
What the public record says about a leak adjustment
Lubbock's current official pages explain how to report leaks and main breaks and state that all leaks are priorities, with health-and-safety threats receiving emergency priority and other repairs prioritized by leak size or water loss. The reviewed customer pages do not publish a universal residential high-bill credit formula, adjustment cap, claim deadline, or mandatory repair-receipt rule. A customer should preserve the bill, meter reading, usage history, photographs, and repair invoice; inspect private plumbing and irrigation; report a city-side problem to Water Dispatch at (806) 775-2588; and call COLU at (806) 775-2509 to request an account review. Any private-side adjustment is therefore account-specific and must be confirmed with the City rather than assumed to be automatic.
