KUBRA's payment service supports optional SMS receipts and payment-due/other alerts: after account lookup and payment, a customer can provide a mobile number and select the available receipt or alert options; message frequency depends on account activity, message and data rates may apply, HELP requests help, and STOP opts out. This should not be represented as a confirmed SAWS text-to-pay capability without direct provider confirmation.
Mail-in payment address
San Antonio Water System, P.O. Box 650989, Dallas, TX 75265-0989. Use the return envelope with the paper bill; personal checks, traveler’s checks, and money orders are accepted by mail, and cash is not accepted.
In-person payment
SAWS lists two customer service centers for in-person payments and account assistance, both open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: West Side Customer Center, Las Palmas Shopping Center, 803 Castroville Rd., Suite 406, San Antonio, TX 78237; and East Side Customer Center, Comerica Building, 403 South W.W. White Road, San Antonio, TX 78219. Counter payment types include cash, personal check, traveler’s check, money order, and debit/credit card. SAWS also accepts payments through selected partner pay agencies; the SAWS headquarters at 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North is an administrative office and does not accept bill payments.
Digital payment methods
KUBRA accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit/debit cards, plus payments from a checking or savings account through the ACH/electronic-transfer channel. SAWS automatic direct debit from a checking or savings account is free. Apple Pay and Google Pay are not identified on the current SAWS payment page and are therefore not publicly documented.
Online convenience fees
$1.85 per $500 payment for residential accounts and $1.85 per $300 payment for commercial accounts through the KUBRA EZ-PAY card-payment service. The SAWS automatic direct-debit option is described as free; any other processor or bank charges should be confirmed at checkout.
