Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
5 days after the bill due date, based on the current residential utility application; the application says a delinquent account may be disconnected when it remains unpaid five days after the due date.
Late-fee calculation
The Lehi residential application states that a penalty of 1.5% per month is added to a delinquent account. The customer must also pay delinquent charges and the applicable reconnection fee before service is restored; reasonable collection expenses, attorney fees, and court costs may be charged when an account is terminated and collected.
Disconnection timeline
The published application establishes due date, then delinquency after the due date, and allows disconnection after five additional days without payment. It does not publish a longer calendar sequence for reminder notices, protected residential customers, or the precise field-work date, so the five-day threshold should be treated as the City's stated minimum rather than a guaranteed shutoff date.
