Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
20 days from the billing date; the City labels a bill late after that interval.
Late-fee calculation
Pasco’s delinquent-account page says typical late fees and penalties under PMC 3.65.140 continue to accrue, but the current public page does not reproduce the exact dollar amount, percentage, or returned-payment fee. The account remains subject to utility charges and statutory/municipal penalties until paid or otherwise resolved.
Disconnection timeline
A bill is late 20 days after billing date, but the City does not publish a fixed day-by-day shutoff schedule. The delinquent-account policy states that after August 31, 2025, or after a qualifying heat-related event ends, the City may immediately and without further notice disconnect delinquent residential accounts; full delinquent payment is normally required before reconnection.
