Provider-specific review
What the public record says about a leak adjustment
Golden Heart’s high-bill guidance directs customers to compare actual meter usage, inspect indoor plumbing and outdoor irrigation, and consider that lawn/garden irrigation can represent 50–70% of monthly use. If a meter-reading transposition is suspected, the customer should contact the utility; the meter team can take a new read and adjust the bill. The reviewed pages do not publish a universal hidden-leak credit formula, repair-receipt requirement, deadline, or cap, so retain repair records and ask Customer Service for an account-specific adjustment.
