- Wastewater and sewer calculation
- Residential wastewater is a flat bi-monthly rate of $72.65 for a single-family dwelling or $57.64 per multi-family dwelling under the July 1, 2025 schedule. The reviewed current rate card does not tie the residential sewer charge to a winter average or percentage of water intake; nonresidential wastewater uses strength/volume rates.
- Meter reading
- Redlands bills on a bi-monthly schedule and provides consumption, billing, and service-order history through RedConnect. The reviewed public pages do not identify AMI/AMR technology or a fixed meter-read route schedule; customers can use the account’s usage history and request meter/street-leak assistance through 909-798-7516.
- New-account deposit
- The current Redlands rate card lists a pre-payment of three times estimated monthly service or $70, whichever is greater. If an account was turned off for nonpayment, a pre-payment may be required to re-establish service; it is credited after one year of satisfactory payment history (six payments) or when the account closes.
- Activation or transfer fee
- Establishing a new municipal services account costs $15 on the first bill. Same-day water turn-on after 3:00 p.m. costs $26; after-hours stand-by turn-on costs $60. Failure to notify a change of ownership costs $35.
