What the public record says about a leak adjustment
Roseville’s current 2026 program is a leak-repair rebate rather than an automatic bill credit. A homeowner must first receive a free Water Wise House Call that identifies an eligible leak, then obtain application approval before beginning repairs. The City may rebate 50% of eligible repair costs up to $750, subject to available first-come, first-served funds. Eligible work includes toilets, irrigation lines, slab leaks, water-service lines, pool autofill, faucets, shower valves, and other household fixtures; customers may perform repairs themselves, but labor is reimbursable only when done by a licensed contractor. The program reimburses approved repair costs, not the excess water charge itself, and customers should call 916-774-5761 for current eligibility and application instructions.
