Provider-specific review
What the public record says about a leak adjustment
Santa Fe Springs does not publish an automatic residential private-leak credit formula or repair-receipt cap in the reviewed current materials. Customers who believe a bill is wrong may initiate a written appeal within 10 days of receiving the bill; if a Delinquency Notice has already issued, a written appeal with supporting documentation must reach the Authority within five business days. The Authority cannot discontinue service while a qualifying appeal or investigation is pending. For qualified hardship customers, the SB 998 policy permits a reduction of an unpaid balance of up to 30% without additional Executive Director approval, based on financial need, Authority finances, and available funding. Customers should retain meter reads, leak-detection observations, repair invoices, photographs, and post-repair usage and contact (562) 409-7520 promptly.
