Provider-specific review
What the public record says about a leak adjustment
Ventura’s published policy allows a billing adjustment once every five years when a premises’ water usage is more than twice its two-year consumption average. If the excess use is caused by a leak, the leak must be corrected before the City grants the adjustment; customers should report the condition, stop and repair the leak, retain plumber invoices and parts receipts, and request review through Customer Care. The public materials reviewed do not state a universal credit percentage, and wastewater is not automatically guaranteed to be adjusted with the water credit.
