Payment channels

Pay VENTURA WATER DEPARTMENT

Use the provider’s verified online, telephone, mail, or counter instructions. Check the final confirmation screen for the amount, processing date, and any transaction fee before submitting.

Primary online route

Use the official payment portal

The direct portal is the fastest route when it is available. The provider identifies its payment gateway as InvoiceCloud for online bill viewing and payment; Ventura’s billing page links customers to My Ventura Water/InvoiceCloud.. Never enter account credentials into a lookalike site reached through an unsolicited message.

Telephone payment

Phone IVR

844-278-9127 for one-time telephone payments.

Have your account number and payment instrument ready. Follow the provider’s recorded prompts and retain the confirmation number.

Alternative channels

Mail, text, and in-person payment instructions

Pay by text

No current Ventura Water text-to-pay keyword or opt-in sequence was published on the reviewed 2026 billing pages. Customers can use My Ventura Water/Web Connect and the published telephone payment line; any notification enrollment must be completed through the live account interface.

Mail-in address

Ventura Water, P.O. Box 612770, San Jose, CA 95161-2770. Mail the detachable bill portion with a check or money order payable to Ventura Water; the City explicitly warns customers not to mail cash or coin.

Counters, drop boxes, and office hours

Payments are accepted at the City Hall Treasury Office, Room 107, 501 Poli Street, Ventura, California, during the City’s posted customer-service hours. A payment drop box is located in front of City Hall at 501 Poli Street; drop-box payments are credited the next business day. The City’s billing page also supports mail, online, and phone channels, while the current page should be checked for holiday or alternate-Friday closures.

Accepted digital instruments

What you can use online

Online and telephone third-party payments accept checking or savings account payments and Visa or Mastercard debit/credit cards. The public Ventura page does not list Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other wallets.

2026 transaction pricing

Convenience fees

The published fee is $3.95 per online transaction and $4.25 per telephone transaction, paid directly to the processing company. These are the current amounts shown by the City’s billing page; a checkout screen controls if the processor changes them.

Fees can vary by payment type, channel, account class, and processor terms. The checkout screen is the final fee disclosure.

Payment guidance

Choose the payment channel that fits your deadline

The safest payment path is the one published by VENTURA WATER DEPARTMENT and matched to the account information on your bill. Online portals are convenient, but telephone, mail, counter, and drop-box options may follow different posting schedules and may use different fees.

For a routine payment, save the final confirmation page or IVR number and check when the transaction will post. For a same-day shut-off notice, do not assume that submitting a card payment automatically stops a field order; ask the provider what amount and confirmation are required.

Never send your account number, password, card details, or bank information to Water Ledger. Those details belong only on the provider’s verified payment channel or at an authorized counter.
