How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
A dedicated this detail was not publicly posted. The 2026 rate sheet lists a late-payment fee but does not publish a fixed grace-period day count.
Late-fee calculation
The 2026 schedule lists a $10.00 late-payment fee plus 1% per month on past-due amounts, a $110 shutoff fee, and a $30 returned-check fee. The District also charges $75 for a second drought-restriction offense and $100 for a third or subsequent offense.
Disconnection timeline
The reviewed pages specify that late charges and a shutoff fee may apply but do not publish the exact number of days from the due date to field termination. Customers should contact the District before the due date or use ACH autopay to avoid penalties; the public page does not promise a grace-period calendar.
