Mail, text, and in-person payment instructions
Pay by text
Lakeland’s current public payment pages do not publish a text-to-pay keyword, short code, or SMS enrollment workflow. The utility does use text and email communications for targeted boil-water and outage notices through contact information associated with the Lakeland billing account; customers should update their phone number through Customer Service and confirm directly whether any newer SMS payment option has been enabled.
Mail-in address
Lakeland Electric / City of Lakeland utility bill payments, P.O. Box 32006, Lakeland, FL 33802-2006. Send a check or money order, include the payment stub or account number, and allow USPS transit time so the payment is received by the due date; no cash should be mailed.
