What the public record says about a leak adjustment
Port Orange's official sewer-adjustment form is the documented relief mechanism. A customer completes the account and service-address fields, identifies the pool fill, leak location and repair date or extraordinary-consumption condition, signs the request and submits it by email or in person. The city may credit only the sewer portion for water that did not enter the sanitary system. Pool-fill reductions are limited to twice in 12 months; private leaks between the meter and house require sufficient verification and toilet leaks are excluded; extraordinary consumption requires a month at least 300% above the prior 12-month average followed by a return to average. The form says to allow two billing cycles for final approval.
