Payment channels

Pay City of Sunrise Public Service / Utility Billing

Use the provider’s verified online, telephone, mail, or counter instructions. Check the final confirmation screen for the amount, processing date, and any transaction fee before submitting.

Primary online route

Use the official payment portal

The direct portal is the fastest route when it is available. The provider identifies its payment gateway as City of Sunrise Customer Service Inquiry System / CSS; the City does not identify a separate payment-gateway brand on the reviewed 2026 rate sheet.. Never enter account credentials into a lookalike site reached through an unsolicited message.

Have your account number and payment instrument ready. Follow the provider’s recorded prompts and retain the confirmation number.

Alternative channels

Mail, text, and in-person payment instructions

Pay by text

No text-to-pay keyword or enrollment workflow was published on the reviewed City payment and 2026 rate pages. The City does provide online account registration, automatic bank drafting, recurring credit cards and account/consumption history through CSS.

Mail-in address

City of Sunrise Public Service, 10770 W. Oakland Park Boulevard, Sunrise, FL 33351-6899; mailed payments may also be sent to P.O. Box 31432, Tampa, FL 33631-3432.

Counters, drop boxes, and office hours

The principal Public Service customer center is 10770 W. Oakland Park Boulevard, Sunrise, FL 33351, generally Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The City lists 24/7 drop boxes at City Hall, 10770 W. Oakland Park Boulevard; Village Civic Center, 6800 Sunset Strip; and New River Civic Center, 60 Weston Road. The published delinquency-restoration rule requires cash, cashier's check, money order, credit card or debit card for in-person restoration; the drop boxes are for payments and are not described as staffed counters.

Accepted digital instruments

What you can use online

The City accepts credit card, debit card and check payments online and by phone, and supports bank-account drafting and recurring credit cards. The reviewed City pages do not list Apple Pay or Google Pay for this utility system.

2026 transaction pricing

Convenience fees

No service fee is charged for online or phone payments, and the January 2026 in-city rate sheet repeats that online and phone payments are free. Automatic bank drafting and recurring credit cards also carry no transaction fee.

Fees can vary by payment type, channel, account class, and processor terms. The checkout screen is the final fee disclosure.

Payment guidance

Choose the payment channel that fits your deadline

The safest payment path is the one published by City of Sunrise Public Service / Utility Billing and matched to the account information on your bill. Online portals are convenient, but telephone, mail, counter, and drop-box options may follow different posting schedules and may use different fees.

For a routine payment, save the final confirmation page or IVR number and check when the transaction will post. For a same-day shut-off notice, do not assume that submitting a card payment automatically stops a field order; ask the provider what amount and confirmation are required.

Never send your account number, password, card details, or bank information to Water Ledger. Those details belong only on the provider’s verified payment channel or at an authorized counter.
