Provider-specific review
What the public record says about a leak adjustment
The current Tallahassee customer pages advise customers to call the City or a plumber when a bill rises unexpectedly and identify customer responsibility for plumbing between the meter and home. The pages reviewed do not publish a numeric residential leak-credit percentage, qualifying threshold, or universal repair-receipt formula. Customers should report the issue promptly, repair the customer-side leak, preserve plumber invoices and meter/usage information, and ask Customer Operations whether an account-specific billing adjustment is available; the City separately processes ordinary billing credits/refunds when an approved adjustment creates a credit.
