- New-account deposit
- A deposit is required when starting service, but the current 2026 start/stop page does not publish one universal dollar amount. The deposit may be waived after a successful credit check, and an additional deposit can be required when overlapping service exceeds 10 days. Passport identification by phone requires a deposit. The current public page does not state a universal on-time-payment period for returning or waiving the deposit.
- Activation or transfer fee
- A $25 setup charge is billed when starting a new account or moving service. Start orders are handled Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; requested stops are handled Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with no routine stop on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or the day before a County holiday. A move requires the existing account balance to be current, and customers provide service dates, address, contact information, identification, and any required deposit.
