Pay by text
OUC does not publish a text-to-pay enrollment keyword for making payments. Registered myOUC Alerts customers may send designated service messages, receive usage and bill notifications, and report an outage by texting OUT to 69682; the prepaid OUC Power Pass program also offers text, email, and phone balance alerts. Customers should enroll through myOUC and confirm the current alert permissions before treating an SMS as a payment channel.
Mail-in address
Orlando Utilities Commission, PO Box 31329, Tampa, FL 33631-3329. Mail a check or money order with the bill stub; OUC warns that regular mailed checks are not processed for accounts placed in cash-only status, while money orders are accepted as cash-equivalent payments.
Counters, drop boxes, and office hours
OUC lists Central Florida payment locations including Publix/Western Union, Walmart/MoneyGram, CVS/MoneyGram, Sedano’s/Western Union, Winn-Dixie/MoneyGram, Advance America/MoneyGram, and additional participating MoneyGram, Fidelity Express, Amscot, and Western Union sites. The current OUC page identifies cash as the standard instrument at the listed retail locations; participating vendors apply payments in real time and accept late payments. OUC’s payment page states that the former $1.30 convenience fee is waived for cash, money order, check, or debit-card payments at participating MoneyGram, Fidelity Express, Amscot, and Western Union locations; store hours and exact location availability vary by vendor. OUC drop-box payments may take 3–5 business days.
