Pay by text

PBCWUD does not publish a bill-payment-by-text keyword or shortcode. Customers can set email delinquency alerts and myAMI usage alerts, including text alerts through the AMI usage platform, but those are notifications rather than a text-to-pay enrollment process.

Mail-in address

Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department, P.O. Box 24740, West Palm Beach, FL 33416. Customers should use the pre-addressed return envelope and include the correct payment stub; the County warns not to mail cash.

Counters, drop boxes, and office hours

Boynton Beach Customer Service Center, 9045 Jog Road, Boynton Beach, FL 33472, and Western Region Customer Service Center/Glades Office Building, 2976 State Road 15, Belle Glade, FL 33430. Lobby hours are Monday–Friday 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; Boynton Beach also has a drive-up window 8 a.m.–5 p.m. County drop boxes are listed at the Palm Beach County Main Library, 3650 Summit Boulevard, West Palm Beach; the two customer centers; West Boca Branch Library, 18685 State Road 7, Boca Raton; Belle Glade City Hall, 110 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard West; City of South Bay, 335 SW 2nd Avenue; and City of Pahokee, 207 Bacom Point Road. Drop-box payments received before 9 a.m. are credited the same business day; do not put cash in a drop box.

What you can use online

One-time electronic check and credit/debit card through the eBill account system; MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express; automatic debit from a checking or savings account; bank electronic bill pay using the 10-digit account number; and check-by-phone. Cash is not accepted by mail or drop box.

The safest payment path is the one published by Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department (PBCWUD) and matched to the account information on your bill. Online portals are convenient, but telephone, mail, counter, and drop-box options may follow different posting schedules and may use different fees.

For a routine payment, save the final confirmation page or IVR number and check when the transaction will post. For a same-day shut-off notice, do not assume that submitting a card payment automatically stops a field order; ask the provider what amount and confirmation are required.
