Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
The customer information book states that bills are due upon receipt and a delinquent account may be subject to interruption; it does not publish one universal grace-day number before a Poinciana shutoff.
Late-fee calculation
Toho's customer information book states that delinquent bills incur a late charge of $5.00 or 5% of the past-due amount, whichever is greater. Accounts that become delinquent are assessed a $50 fee and may be subject to water interruption; customers must notify the call center when the balance is paid in full.
Disconnection timeline
Toho mails a disconnect notice to delinquent accounts identifying the final date to pay before service interruption. The reviewed official customer book does not publish a universal day-count from due date to shutoff; customers can request a payment extension before the bill becomes past due and should call (407) 944-5000 immediately after receiving a notice.
