Payment channels

Pay Louisville Water Company

Use the provider’s verified online, telephone, mail, or counter instructions. Check the final confirmation screen for the amount, processing date, and any transaction fee before submitting.

Primary online route

Use the official payment portal

The direct portal is the fastest route when it is available. The provider identifies its payment gateway as Paymentus processes the online and phone card/e-check functions; the customer-facing account experience is branded Pure Connect and is hosted at louisvillewater-eportal.i3.app.. Never enter account credentials into a lookalike site reached through an unsolicited message.

Phone IVR

(502) 583-6610, with (888) 535-6262 toll-free; the automated system provides account and payment routing, and customer-service representatives are available Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

Have your account number and payment instrument ready. Follow the provider’s recorded prompts and retain the confirmation number.

Alternative channels

Mail, text, and in-person payment instructions

Pay by text

A dedicated this detail was not publicly posted. Louisville Water's current official payment pages describe Pure Connect, Quick Pay, AutoPay, digital-wallet payments, cash barcode payments, Walmart, mail, and in-person options, but do not publish a customer enrollment keyword or a text-to-pay program. The service rules do authorize account-related SMS notifications when a customer supplies a phone number; customers may opt out through customer service.

Mail-in address

Louisville Water Company, ATTN: Customer Service, 550 South Third Street, Louisville, KY 40202. Customers should include the payment stub or account number and use a check or money order; never mail cash.

Counters, drop boxes, and office hours

The John L. Huber Building/Corporate Office, 550 South Third Street, Louisville, KY 40202, accepts customer-service transactions Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; an after-hours payment may be placed in the secure Third Street night depository. The Bullitt County office at Shepherdsville City Hall, 634 Conestoga Parkway, Shepherdsville, KY 40165, is open Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and 1:30-4:00 p.m., with lunch closure. The corporate lobby kiosk accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, cash, and check. Customers can also generate a 24-hour barcode in Pure Connect or Quick Pay and pay cash at participating CVS, Walgreens, Kroger, Dollar General, and similar stores for a $2.95 transaction fee, or use participating Walmart MoneyCenter locations for cash, debit, or UCards with a $2 fee.

Accepted digital instruments

What you can use online

Pure Connect accepts credit and debit cards, electronic check/bank-account payments, AutoPay from checking or savings, Apple Pay, PayPal, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, and Venmo. Customers can store cards in the Pure Connect digital wallet, schedule a payment up to 30 days before the due date, and make Quick Pay payments; current official pages do not advertise cryptocurrency or a separate text-to-pay wallet.

2026 transaction pricing

Convenience fees

A dedicated this detail was not publicly posted. The reviewed current Louisville Water payment pages do not publish a separate 2026 online card or e-check convenience-fee schedule. Third-party cash methods are explicitly priced at $2.95 for the barcode/scan-to-pay method and $2 at Walmart; an older 2019 lobby-kiosk notice listed a $2.50 card fee, but that historical kiosk charge should not be treated as the current Pure Connect online fee.

Fees can vary by payment type, channel, account class, and processor terms. The checkout screen is the final fee disclosure.

Payment guidance

Choose the payment channel that fits your deadline

The safest payment path is the one published by Louisville Water Company and matched to the account information on your bill. Online portals are convenient, but telephone, mail, counter, and drop-box options may follow different posting schedules and may use different fees.

For a routine payment, save the final confirmation page or IVR number and check when the transaction will post. For a same-day shut-off notice, do not assume that submitting a card payment automatically stops a field order; ask the provider what amount and confirmation are required.

Never send your account number, password, card details, or bank information to Water Ledger. Those details belong only on the provider’s verified payment channel or at an authorized counter.
