Pay by text

The City's September 2025 payment-system notice says customers can pay by phone or text with a credit/debit card or e-check and receive due-date notifications. It does not publish the text keyword, shortcode or opt-in syntax; customers should start from the City's payment page or call 616-530-7389 rather than text an unverified number.

Mail-in address

City Treasurer/Utility Business, P.O. Box 908, Wyoming, MI 49509. Checks should be payable to the City of Wyoming with the payment stub or account number enclosed; cash should not be mailed or placed in a drop box.

Counters, drop boxes, and office hours

The Treasurer's Office and drive-up window are at City Hall, 1155 28th Street SW, Wyoming, MI 49509, Monday-Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; the office is closed Friday-Sunday. A drop box in the north parking lot is available at any time, and the City says payments received after 5:00 p.m. are credited the following day. Cash and checks may be paid at the Treasurer's Office without a convenience fee.

Invoice Cloud/City payment services accept Discover, Mastercard, American Express, Visa, PayPal, Venmo and e-check. Free quarterly ACH auto-payment is available through the City form. The newer payment system also supports card or e-check payments by phone or text.

Convenience fees

The City publishes a 2.7% credit/debit-card fee with a $1.95 minimum and an e-check fee of $0.80. Quarterly ACH auto-pay has no fee; cash and checks paid to the Treasurer's Office also have no convenience fee.

Fees can vary by payment type, channel, account class, and processor terms. The checkout screen is the final fee disclosure.

Choose the payment channel that fits your deadline

The safest payment path is the one published by City of Wyoming Utility Business Office and matched to the account information on your bill. Online portals are convenient, but telephone, mail, counter, and drop-box options may follow different posting schedules and may use different fees.

For a routine payment, save the final confirmation page or IVR number and check when the transaction will post. For a same-day shut-off notice, do not assume that submitting a card payment automatically stops a field order; ask the provider what amount and confirmation are required.
