- M.U.D. allows eligible new residential customers to waive the security deposit by enrolling in recurring payment within 30 days and maintaining it for 12 consecutive months, supplying a letter of credit showing 12 months of excellent credit, or using a cosigner with an active M.U.D. account and two years of excellent credit.
