Notice and timing
How delinquency is handled
Grace period after the due date
A dedicated this detail was not publicly posted. The district publishes a due date determined by the meter-read and bill-generation schedule but does not state a universal numeric grace period.
Late-fee calculation
A dedicated this detail was not publicly posted. The current public customer pages do not state a universal late percentage or flat late fee. The annual Billing Price Book controls turn-on and other service fees; customers with difficulty paying are told to call Customer Service to arrange payment before shutoff.
Disconnection timeline
M.U.D. treats shutoff as a last resort and attempts payment arrangements or assistance referrals. If a customer receives a shutoff notice and remains unpaid, service may be disconnected; after payment, online or IVR payment does not automatically restore service, so the customer must call 402-554-6666 to verify payment and schedule activation. The exact day count from due date to shutoff is not published.
