Payment channels

Pay Oklahoma City Utilities Department / Oklahoma City Water Utilities Trust (OCWUT)

Use the provider’s verified online, telephone, mail, or counter instructions. Check the final confirmation screen for the amount, processing date, and any transaction fee before submitting.

Primary online route

Use the official payment portal

The direct portal is the fastest route when it is available. The provider identifies its payment gateway as My OKC Utilities customer portal; the current City pages do not identify a separate payment processor.. Never enter account credentials into a lookalike site reached through an unsolicited message.

Telephone payment

Phone IVR

Call (405) 297-2833 and select option 2 for automated payment. The voice prompt system is available for account/payment tasks 24/7; customer-service representatives are available Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Water outages, emergencies, or sewer backups use (405) 297-2833, extension 1, 24/7.

Have your account number and payment instrument ready. Follow the provider’s recorded prompts and retain the confirmation number.

Alternative channels

Mail, text, and in-person payment instructions

Pay by text

OKC Utilities' public 2026 payment instructions support the My OKC Utilities portal, mobile app, automatic bill pay, and 211OK assistance text referrals, but do not publish a text-to-pay keyword or SMS payment-credential enrollment flow. Customers may use the portal/app for notifications and payment arrangements and may text 211OK to 898211 for community-assistance referrals; that 211 text is not a utility payment service. Use only okcutilities.com or the official IVR to authorize a payment.

Mail-in address

City of Oklahoma City, P.O. Box 26570, Oklahoma City, OK 73126-0570. Include the bill payment stub and account number; mail a check or money order as directed and do not send cash.

Counters, drop boxes, and office hours

OKC Utilities provides PaySite kiosks typically located in Homeland, Crest Foods, and 7-Eleven stores; cash payments should be as close to the exact balance as possible because kiosks do not give cash back and remaining change is credited to the account. Western Union agent locations also accept payments when the biller is entered as Oklahoma City Utilities, with a receipt/MTCN for tracking. The current public customer pages do not publish a staffed Utilities cashier schedule, so customers should call (405) 297-2833 before seeking a counter transaction. City Hall is at 200 N. Walker Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73102, but the listed bill-payment channels are the portal, IVR, kiosks, Western Union, and mail.

Accepted digital instruments

What you can use online

The My OKC Utilities portal and mobile app support one-time payment, automatic bill pay, payment arrangements, and bill history. The telephone system accepts bank, debit, or credit cards; the City's detailed instructions list Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. PaySite kiosks accept cash and supported card methods as displayed, and Western Union accepts the biller/account payment at agent locations. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal are not identified as standard current utility methods.

2026 transaction pricing

Convenience fees

The City does not display one universal 2026 online convenience-fee percentage or flat amount on the public portal/payment pages. PaySite and Western Union may apply their own disclosed retail/agent charges, and the exact portal processor charge should be reviewed before confirmation. Bank-account automatic payment and the City's payment-extension feature are not advertised with a separate utility convenience surcharge.

Fees can vary by payment type, channel, account class, and processor terms. The checkout screen is the final fee disclosure.

Payment guidance

Choose the payment channel that fits your deadline

The safest payment path is the one published by Oklahoma City Utilities Department / Oklahoma City Water Utilities Trust (OCWUT) and matched to the account information on your bill. Online portals are convenient, but telephone, mail, counter, and drop-box options may follow different posting schedules and may use different fees.

For a routine payment, save the final confirmation page or IVR number and check when the transaction will post. For a same-day shut-off notice, do not assume that submitting a card payment automatically stops a field order; ask the provider what amount and confirmation are required.

Never send your account number, password, card details, or bank information to Water Ledger. Those details belong only on the provider’s verified payment channel or at an authorized counter.
