Provider-specific review
What the public record says about a leak adjustment
McKinney offers a courtesy residential leak credit when a single bill's usage is at least three times the same period of the prior year and the utility bill exceeds $150, excluding service fees and deposits. The request is limited to one per address in a 12-month period, and the customer must submit the leak-adjustment form with proof of repair within 60 days of the repair. Adjusting an irrigation timer does not qualify. Payment in full remains required while the request is reviewed to avoid late fees or disconnection; the City does not publish a universal percentage or dollar formula in the public page, so the final credit is determined by the utility after verifying eligibility.
