Payment channels

Pay City of Plano Customer & Utility Services – Water Utilities

Use the provider’s verified online, telephone, mail, or counter instructions. Check the final confirmation screen for the amount, processing date, and any transaction fee before submitting.

Primary online route

Use the official payment portal

The direct portal is the fastest route when it is available. The provider identifies its payment gateway as InvoiceCloud (the City's new Customer & Utility Services payment platform launched April 20, 2026). Never enter account credentials into a lookalike site reached through an unsolicited message.

Telephone payment

Phone IVR

A dedicated this detail was not publicly posted. Current Plano pages publish Customer & Utility Services billing at (972) 941-7105 and direct customers to the online Quick Pay/account portal, but do not expose a separate verified automated telephone-payment number.

Have your account number and payment instrument ready. Follow the provider’s recorded prompts and retain the confirmation number.

Alternative channels

Mail, text, and in-person payment instructions

Pay by text

A dedicated this detail was not publicly posted. Current official Plano Customer & Utility Services pages reviewed do not publish a text-to-pay keyword, enrollment short code, or opt-in workflow.

Mail-in address

City of Plano Customer & Utility Services, P.O. Box 861990, Plano, TX 75086. Customers should use the remittance address printed on the current bill and allow normal postal processing time; the City does not publish a promise that a postmark satisfies the due date.

Counters, drop boxes, and office hours

The principal customer-service location is the Plano Municipal Center, 1520 K Avenue, Plano, TX 75074. City hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; the current billing contact page identifies Customer & Utility Services telephone assistance at (972) 941-7105 on weekdays, generally 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on nonholidays. The current 2026 payment-platform transition pages do not expose a complete, verified list of active cash counters, drive-through lanes, drop boxes, kiosks, or desk-specific accepted-payment rules, so customers should confirm those details before bringing cash or a same-day delinquency payment.

Accepted digital instruments

What you can use online

The InvoiceCloud portal supports one-time Quick Pay, logged-in payments, stored payment methods, recurring AutoPay, and account usage/billing management. The City also provides bank-draft/ACH enrollment materials. The current public portal pages do not identify every card brand or confirm Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other digital-wallet support; those instruments should not be assumed from the generic payment screen.

2026 transaction pricing

Convenience fees

A dedicated this detail was not publicly posted. The current Plano InvoiceCloud launch and payment pages reviewed do not publish a verified 2026 flat fee or percentage for card, ACH, or e-check transactions. Customers should inspect the final confirmation screen before submitting a payment.

Fees can vary by payment type, channel, account class, and processor terms. The checkout screen is the final fee disclosure.

Payment guidance

Choose the payment channel that fits your deadline

The safest payment path is the one published by City of Plano Customer & Utility Services – Water Utilities and matched to the account information on your bill. Online portals are convenient, but telephone, mail, counter, and drop-box options may follow different posting schedules and may use different fees.

For a routine payment, save the final confirmation page or IVR number and check when the transaction will post. For a same-day shut-off notice, do not assume that submitting a card payment automatically stops a field order; ask the provider what amount and confirmation are required.

Never send your account number, password, card details, or bank information to Water Ledger. Those details belong only on the provider’s verified payment channel or at an authorized counter.
