Emergency reporting route
(254) 299-2489 / 299-CITY, the City's published number for water emergencies, low pressure, outages, leaks, and sewer backups. The MyWaco app is used for non-emergency requests.
Utility assistance program
The City partners with Caritas through Care & Share. Qualifying residents request assistance from Caritas at (254) 753-4593; customers can also donate through MyWaco Profile → Donations. No fixed universal water-credit cap is published, and eligibility is handled by Caritas and City account staff.
State and federal aid connection
Waco directs customers to call 211 or use the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs Help for Texans portal at https://tdhca.texas.gov/help-for-texans for current utility-assistance eligibility. Customers should coordinate approved outside assistance with MyWaco before disconnection; no automatic LIHWAP interface is published.
