The official City welcome packet describes the customer-service counter at City Hall, 401 S Rogers Street, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; a drive-through at the south end of City Hall Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and a 24-hour south-end drop box for checks or money orders only. Because the current page and older packet show different street numbers, customers should confirm the active counter location before visiting. Desk payments historically accepted cash, check, money order, and cards; current portal restrictions supersede older American Express information.
Digital payment methods
The current Tyler portal displays Visa, Mastercard, and Discover card payments plus checking-account/e-check payments. The portal announcement says American Express is not accepted effective November 1, 2025, and Apple Pay is not supported; customers must use an accepted card or checking account.
